It's that time again Westerners! Join us for our Student Org Bake Sale this Friday, December 13th during A & B lunches! Sweet treats for a sweet cause, benefiting our student orgs.


📢 Testing Day: December 10th | 1st–4th periods
Testing students: Take the TSI or English District Assessment to evaluate college readiness and skills for End-of-Course preparation.
✔️ Bring a charged Chromebook.
✔️ Arrive on time.
✔️ Do your best!
Non-testing students: Report to the cafeteria for structured academic sessions like essay completion, guided study, and support opportunities.
Communication with details about testing or activities has been sent to students and families. Attendance is required for everyone. Classes at the ATC and Agri-STEM continue as usual for non-testing students.


Mark your calendars for the Holiday Band Concert! 🎺 Catch the show on Tuesday, December 10th, at 7 PM in the LHS Auditorium. It will be a festive night of incredible music!


Get into the holiday spirit with Sounds of the Season, our Choir Holiday Concert!
Join us on Monday, December 9th, at 7 PM at First Baptist Church, 2201 Broadway St. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Don’t miss this magical evening!


GIVING TUESDAY!!
Each year our PTSA provides food and necessities for our students who are experiencing homelessness. Your contribution will help them meet their needs over the holiday and hopefully provide them with a few extras during the holiday season! Follow the link to help!

It’s been a great day at Lubbock High, filled with gratitude and good company. From writing thoughtful notes to enjoying potlucks, we’ve had the chance to celebrate together. Our NJROTC cadets visited Commander William McCool Academy, connecting with students and sharing their insights on this amazing Lubbock High School Program. A big thank you to McCool for welcoming us and making this visit memorable. It’s always great to see our Westerner groups engaging with future leaders in the community!

Each year, the Nancy Anderson Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution sponsors the Good Citizens Award for one senior from each accredited high school. This award honors students who have shown dedication to their school and community through leadership, service, and a commitment to civic values.
